Pretty Petite Roses From My Garden

Yesterday morning as I was watering the garden, I kept noticing how sweet all the pretty petite roses were. There seemed to be more than usual, so I decided to pick a bouquet for my new little antique vase. I was not sure how I wanted to photograph them until I saw "Miss Gracies House" blog this morning and got so inspired by Her post!

Update on My House Painting Project and a New Little Country Garden

While my house was getting painted I also started thinking about planting a little  country garden straight out in front of my shop door. As I sit at my desk on the computor I can see the big yard where the vendors used to set up when the show first started at my house. It was kind of boring looking out the front door without the thoughts of the vendors coming back, so I decided to create a little place for my eyes to rest whle I do the computor work. Here is an update on the completed house painting project and my little beginning of the english country garden I now glance upon while working. XO Christie

The house got painted a pure white with Garden green shutters and accents.

Only a Few Weeks in Between Shows to Work on my House

Since I only have a few weeks in between shows to work on the list of projects to do around my house, it seems I have to do everything rather quickly in order to finish and go on to the next project waiting. Last week while on a girls day out I came across this 1920's bedroom set with the original rose appliques still in tack, but it was painted yellow, not the color i'm decorating my home with, so I just got done re-painting it white and antiquing it for one of my guest rooms. I can't wait to bring it in and ad the bedding! XO Christie
