Romantic Garden Inspirations

Lately I have been lost, roaming around in inspiration "lala land". I have been so inspired by the Era of Marie Antoinette in all it's romantic spendor. So now I am looking around my yard to see how I might apply some of the inspiring ideas to my little "french country chateau", as I like to think of it. And as I have searched , I have pinned quite a few beautiful images on my "Le Jardin" board on Pinterest and would like to share a few of them with you. "Marie" Era of Style and Design

Most of you who know of me, know that I am extremly inspired by French floral art and History. I am forever digging in search of old designs for new inspiration! Recently I have been revisiting the Queen and Her passionate surroundings which are to me, full of beauty and grace! Here is a look at one of her special places within her estate "The Pettit Trianon" named the Belvedere Salon de Musique. The outside architectural details remind me of frosting on a wedding cake and the inside is embellished with amazing floral art, although worn through the ages , still quite beautiful and inspiring.
