My Last Oil Painting of 2011

Although I love to paint in oil, and it's my favorite of all mediums, I don't seem to get as much time to compose as many as I would like with my busy schedule. Creating a painting to me is like writting a song or a poem, you start out with an inspiration but you never know exactly where it will take you before it's completed. and it usually takes on a life of its own. This year I have painted 7 new oil paintings, and this one is just in time to debut at our December Vintage Marketplace! XO Christie

I Took a Soldering Class with my SIL Rita!

Yesterday was a dear friend of ours Vicky's birthday. So my thoughtful SIL Rita gave her a Soldering class for her birthay! All 5 of us had so much fun! Rita went all out to decorate in Vicky's favorite color and my brother Dean did some amazing cooking for us. Here are a few photos of the decor and what I made.
