Next Show : "Cottage in the Garden"

Iv'e been a little quiet this week because I'm so busy getting ready for the next show down in San Diego, at sweet Shirley's lovely "Cottage in the Garden" This Friday and Saturday. Here is a little peek of a few things I finished just in time.

Lots of Good Changes!!!

  After the March show at my house, Rita and I decided we had out grown this location. So for the last 3 weeks we have feverishly  been looking for a new home to move "The Vintage Marketplace" to.We finally locked into a wonderful rustic country park with room to add more vendors and plenty of parking space! It's called "The Oaks". Still in Fallbrook in a little area called Rainbow, 10 minutes south of  Temecula, off the 15 fwy. Already located on the property is a fabulous restaurant (that people travel far and wide for), a country store, a charming little flower shop, a recycled salvage yard and even it's own little gas station. Anyway we are very excited to become a part of this family of venues. Here is our postcard for June . XO Christie

The Glitterfest Show in 3 Days!!! "Vintage Spring Garden"Theme

I only had barely a week to get ready for Glitterfest. And knowing what a fabulous show it is , I managed to push out a few new creations. My Theme is "Vintage Spring Garden", kinda spilling over from the Chateau De Fleurs Show , by the way it was the busiest show ever for us, and left me pretty wiped out! Thank God for His Blessings! My First Rose Painting Class Project

I had sign-ups at the "Vintage Marketplace" and much to my surprise I sold out of the first date Saturday April 30th. So I will be setting another date June 25th after my show . With this rose design I will be able to work with you on light hitting shapes, some shadowing, mixing and muting color and you can go home with a pretty sign!

"Today's Vintage" puts a Spotlight on Chateau De Fleurs Vintage Marketplace!

Thanks to my SIL Rita's hard marketing work, we are excited to have been chosen for the March 2011 front cover and a 2 page article in Today's Vintage Magazine! It's just in time for our show this Friday and Saturday. We will have copies available in my studio.
