Antique Store Business Sign

At our last "Chateau De Fleurs Vintage Marketplace" my friend Lori Martin (Redlands antique dealer)Bought this giant clock from Sara and Abby of  http://sweetmagnoliasfarm.blogspot.com/ and commisioned me to make it into a store sign. Lori is planning to have a antique store in her fabulous victorian historical home and is in process of getting it ready. She also is planning an event at her home called " TELL ME ABOUT THE GOOD OLD DAYS" Friday, November 5th & Saturday November 6th 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 815 W. Cypress Ave. Redlands, Ca. 92373 Myslf along with several other vintage vendors and artesians will be participating in this event.

I have been vacationing in decorating LA LA LAND!

And it's time to come back to check in and do some work. But here are some samples of things I brought back with me to apply to my next decorating adventure, the family room. The kitchen is just about finished for now and my thoughts have taken me  towards the family room. I have decided to carry the black, cream, soft green and rasberry into this room as well.I have walls to paint and sofa's and chairs to upholster a chandelier and a set of sconces to hang,and the idea's keep coming , its different for me but I am loving it!

Sue Jackson's Cozy Beach Bungalow

One of the nicest most supportive women I know in the antique world is my friend Sue Jackson.She is the owner of  the best antique mall we have here in southern california "Country Roads"http://mycountryroads.blogspot.com/. Well about three weeks ago I got invited to her home for a baby shower in honor of her daughter Katie, I was so excited to see Sue and Katie and of coarse to see and photograph her cottage. Upon arrival I was told that Sue was too sick to join the shower, so Katie and Sue's granddaughter Riley were the hostesses.I then began to take pictures of all Sues wonderful collections, everywhere I turned there were more wonderful treasures. I got so caught up in Sues things I forgot to take pictures of the people at the shower, I'm so sorry Sue there really were allot of your friends and family their to celebrate! We all had such a good time. Congratulations to Katie and her family on the birth of her new baby boy "Bodhi"! XO,
